We drove about an hour and a half to get to rural Byford. We stayed in a house with friends of Joyce and Gavin. The people we stayed with for one night are organic farmers and had an indoor pool we swam in. It was fun to see rural Australia and the ranches of horses, alpacas and other animals.

The dog's name is Ralph. He is part dingo and part cattle dog. He helps round up the chickens, but recently he ate one of their chickens! The swimming pool is behind the windows here.
