It is fantastic to be here in Australia!!!

My host family is very nice and welcoming!  Their house and my room are also very nice.

I love the birds here.  They sing songs I've never heard before.   I love the weather too!  It's actually cooler than normal here today. 

Maybe only 75 because there was a light shower this morning.

    Cool. Maybe you can post some pictures of the birds, or maybe a video so we can here the sounds too.

    No school today! It's freezing over here Mrs. Wirch!!! It was -2 degrees Saturday, I think. I'm not exactly sure but it was pretty dang cold on pep band night. I miss you so much. I hope you're enjoying the nice weather though. Solo and Ensemble starts Tuesday. I hope I get first place at local and district. I MISS YOU! I send lots of hugs. :)

    Okay, I'm leaving my Tuesday conversation comment today because I will be super busy tomorrow with band and Forensics. I'm excited for my Forensics meet Saturday and pep band was a blast. I hope solo and ensemble will be even better though. Especially without you there. It's gonna take a lot longer to get it down without you, but I'm sure I'll do fine. I miss you. I send lots of hugs and giggles! :)

    I will add some photos and maybe a video in a couple of days. Australia day (today) will be a busy day and tomorrow I'm meeting with my local host from Travellers Worldwide. It will take me over an hour to get to her house but then I will also get to meet 4 other volunteers she'll be picking up.

    Thanks you for you kind emails. Is the reason you have no school because it is too cold? I'm glad to know that you'll be practicing hard for solo and ensemble festival!

    No. The reason I had no school is because the teachers got a day to finish up grading to enter grades. First semester, very stressful for some teachers. My math teacher hasn't even entered my last test score for 2nd Quarter yet! It's making me very stressed and I still don't know what part I got in the musical which doesn't solve any of my problems at all. Mrs. Willcutt has been very kind to me about you being gone. If it weren't for her and my friends, I don't know what I'd do. Yes, I am crying because I miss you so very much, but I am very happy you are enjoying your trip. You deserve it after what you've given and taught me. You are a very sweet woman. Stay away from the poisonous animals though! That would not be good. I send lots of hugs. :)

    I miss you. Please come visit GCMS when you come back not just for the band concert. I'd like to hear about your trip and give lots of hugs again. I miss hearing your voice, having your warm hugs, and having you to talk to when I need advice or just someone to talk to. Mrs. Willcutt handed out our first piece of music for the band concert. I'm not gonna tell you what they are though, I want you to be suprised for the concert, even if you did pick them out. I MISS YOU SO MUCH! I just wanna have one last hug from you. I miss how you always smile at me when I walk into class. Send lots of hugs of course. :) P.S. I'm so bored right now!
